Louis Cardinals for all of his 22 Major League Baseball seasons. When he retired in 1963, “Stan the Man” held 17 Major League, 29 National League and 9 All-Star Game records. Musial led the National League in total bases and slugging percentage for 6 years. With a career 311 batting average, Musial won the National League batting title 7 times, was MVP 3 times and was named on 24 All-Star teams. Sports illustrated named Musial Sportsmen of the Year in 1957 and 1956.
